PPF is a professional service however, if you have the skills and tools you can install PPF film yourself. You will need a clay bar, slip solution, microfibre cloth, squeegee, knife or blade, heat gun and others. All the PPF installation tools are available on our website.
PPF has a high-gloss finish but to maintain the shine you should wash your car every other week with a mild detergent and a soft microfiber cloth. We don’t recommend auto car wash points because high water pressure and harsh chemicals damage PPF.
After a fresh PPF application, you should wait for at least 48 hours to wash the car because it takes a few days for the PPF to cure completely.
Harsh chemicals are strictly prohibited from being used in PPF-wrapped cars as they reduce the wrap’s lifespan and cause discolouration.
You should not drive your PPF-wrapped car for at least 24 hours after paint protection film installation.
Ceramic coating needs post-installation care like other automotive services. You should wash your car after one or two weeks with a mild soap or detergent. Clean the vehicle with a soft microfiber cloth, do not wash it under direct sunlight or in extremely hot areas. Never use car wax products on your ceramic-coated car.
Ceramic coating is a professional service and one should never try a DIY procedure as improper ceramic coating application ruins a vehicle’s look. It causes irregular streaks, hazing, and spotting on the car’s paint which destroys the vehicle’s aesthetics instead of enhancing them.
